3. Magnetic Compass: This invention lead man to Travel long distances leaving his home, discovering distant lands and it was key to our understanding the earth.
4. Internal Combustion Engine: This has revolutionised transportation. Horses/bullocks were replaced by automobiles. Travel speed increased.
5. Antibiotics: This is the invention, which increased human life expectancy dramatically. It is germ-killing substance that comes from living source. Although it combats a wide range of serious diseases, it is virtually harmless to healthy tissues.
6. Aeroplane: Inspired by Nature. It was considered to be impossible that a material heavier than Air can really fly. Transportation was given a totally new dimension.
7. Telephone: This is the important invention in the field of communication. This made world shrink.
8. Electronics: After electricity this is the most important invention, which has created many applications to Electricity.
9. Computers: Invention of Electronics lead to invention of modern day computer.
10. Internet: This has really made the globe to shrink. Invention of this started the new age, the Information age. No doubt this is the most important invention after Electricity.
